Reduce: the new pack offers 80% reduction in plastic
Prince de Bretagne has for several years started a process of reducing plastic on its packaged products. Prince de Bretagne and NNZ started a packaging optimization project on the snacking range of shaker references 250 gr of cherry tomatoes (Tutti and Pigeon variety) in 2020.
The resulting new pack is an evolution of a packaging range initially all in PET and offers a 80% reduction in plastic compared to the original version. This cup is designed from solid board with macro-perforations for ventilation of the content, and a matching transparent PET lid for protection and product visibility.
Innovation at NNZ means developing a sustainable packaging portfolio for you, using our fact based #Rethink method guided by a Reinvent, Redesign, Research and Recycle approach.
