Retail packaging for produce
Fibre or pulp trays are available in bagasse fibre, recycled paper fibre and wood fibre.
Typical content packed in: Fibre | Pulp trays
The bagasse fibre tray is smooth walled, with consistent thickness and no obvious spots and other appearance defects. The open fibre structure allows for absorption of moisture which benefits shelf life of the produce. Moisture absorption does not impact dimensional stability.
The pulp trays are made from 100% recycled paper. The trays are available in four models to fit 250g, 500g and 1000g of soft fruit. The open fibre structure allows for absorption of moisture which benefits shelf life of the soft fruit.
The smooth walled pulp tray is made from blended wood fibres and certified compostable. The tray is used for packing soft fruit, tomatoes and mushrooms. The moisture absorbing character of the pulp allows for increased freshness and quality of the fresh produce.
The wooden trays are produced using FSC wood sources. In contrast to other wooden trays in the market, these trays are stitched with cotton yarn.
